Managing your body's response to irritants, instead of suppressing the symptoms
TCM believes that hypersensitivities are a result of the weakening of the body's defensive Qi, which is also known as Wei Qi. This deficiency of defensive Qi can be further aggravated by pathogenic factors such as wind, dampness, cold, and heat which could complicate matters. TCM treatment identifies and remove the cause of the matter holistically, which may translates to a less angry body response.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Breeze?
Breeze is an offshoot brand from Mayura Healthcare Services which raises awareness on the plausibility of treating allergy symptoms base on the experience and perspective of the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) tradition.
Is Breeze a Substitute for Medical Care?
No. Our team at Breeze did not encourage one to forego proper medical care in favour of just using Traditional Chinese Medicine. Our goal is to lessen medications dependency whenever possible and to provide lasting relief as long as possible. Always talk to your doctor when you are concurrently taking any traditional and complementary medicine together with conventional treatment.
Should I be Concerned about Drug-herbal interactions?
Yes. Please be thorough with your consultations with our TCM practitioner as drug-herbal medicine interaction could be serious. As we emphasise heavily on safety, we will ask you beforehand on the medicines you are currently on and will make necessary adjustment before preparing your herbal medicine prescriptions. Acupuncture, on the other hand, is not contraindicated if the patient is not on blood thinner or hemophilic. If in doubt, please check with your doctor before embarking on any treatment or stopping medications.

How is Breeze's Approach Different?
At Breeze, our motto is to increase Defensive Qi of the individual sufferer to lessen the painful symptoms associated with a over-reactive body. This is done with educations, acupuncture, as well as herbal medicine and diet modification.
We focuses on the individualistic treatment rather than a general approach. In TCM, we differentiate disorder into syndromes and even though two patients might have the same sensitivities, the underlying cause (the syndromes) might be different and necessitate different treatment. TCM is a highly individualised treatment and definitely not a one-size-fits-all.
